Lakeside, Yishun, Punggol: Looking for Full-Time Student Care Centre Teachers

Job Types:

• Full Time, Contract
• Timing/Shifts: 5 Day Week

Responsibilities:

• Conduct lessons according to the centre’s curriculum
• Manage care routine for primary school children
• Supervise homework, life-skills & recreational activities
• Conduct indoor & outdoor activities
• Assist with field trips, excursions or visits
• Provide a positive, nurturing, safe & secure learning environment for students
• Inform supervisor of any noteworthy incidents that occur while the students are under your supervision
• Perform other related duties as required

Requirements:

• Minimum ‘O’ Level / Higher Nitec / Diploma
• Student care centre experience an advantage
• Has the passion to nurture students’ holistic development
• Positive work attitude & full of initiatives
• Able to work independently as well as in a team

Location & Working Hours: 

• Monday to Friday
• Taman Jurong (Lakeside Pri Sch) – Contract till 31 Dec 2024
• Yishun (Huamin Pri Sch)- Contract till 31 Dec 2023
• Punggol (Edgefield Pri Sch)- Contract till 31 Dec 2024
• Normal School Term: 10.30am to 7pm (includes 1 hr break)
• School Holidays: 7.00am to 4.00pm or 10am to 7pm

Salary:

• Full-Time: $1,700 – $2,200 (Salary will commensurate with education and experience)

Working Conditions:

• Student Care Teachers work in school-based settings, typically in after-school programs. The work schedule is typically from Monday to Friday, from 10.30am to 7pm or in shifts during school holidays. The work environment can be noisy and active, and requires physical stamina and energy to engage and interact with children throughout the day. Classrooms are non-air-conditioned but well ventilated with ceiling fans.
